Horsing around....

Image
Patsy spent this past weekend horse and house sitting for a lady who lives out our way.  She has a GORGEOUS property - a couple of acres, big dog and two horses that she jumps in shows and things. We got to go see them  - it was FUN! Both kids loved seeing the horses - Wyatt was a bit timid just b/c they are SO much bigger than he is :) But both fed them carrots and we even got to watch Daddy and Papa kill a nasty baby "nake" (That's Wyatt for Snake). The lady also has a pool so we might go play tomorrow again. :) They loved the hats :) So now we all want more land and horses :) The beauty of the mountains, the grass, the open space...it will be fantastic when we have a place like that!

Fun fun fun...again

These children are so fun....we made sugar cookies with some good friends the other day - it was a total mess and totally fun :)  Savanna and Wyatt love hanging out with Josh and Ethan, and their new friend, Cora. Man, is Savvy glad to have another girl to play with :) We know the kids next door - so Savvy and Wyatt stand up on the cheese house to chat with them. It is hilarious! Hi, My name is Hudson, I'm 14 weeks old and totally totally ADORABLE :) The big kids LOVE Hudson. LOVE him. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE him. Sometimes he flinches when them come close b/c of the extent of the "love". :)  Hudson has found his hands and his tongue!! It is so fun to watch him chew on both :) He s responding more and more to us - loves to be talked to and cooed at. Doesn't mind being tickled - a little bit. He is still trying to figure out what to do with he is tickled :)

Papa Doc's trip to visit!

First of all, I found Hudson's giggle spot!!! He laughed and laughed and giggled for me today...it was AWESOME!!! We had a FANTASTIC time with Charles' dad, "Doc" while he was here. It was so fun to just enjoy him, spend time doing "normal" life stuff, having the kids get to know him more and having him meet Huddy Buddy. We went to Cabela's, Popo's Mexican Food (AMAZING!), hung out....and more. Shooting range at Cabela's :)  Our kids LOVE Davy Crockett. Random, huh? Well I found a coon skin cap...a wee bit large for Hudson, but we needed something to do while the big kids were shooting :)   We took Doc to watch the rattlesnakes at the White Tanks park get "lunch." Or rather their every 2 weeks feeding. Notice the small tail sticking out of the snake's mouth above? Yes, they are fed live mice. :( Not for the squeamish, for sure. My children LOVED it. ????? What the?!?!?!? They shrieked and hooted and oohed as the snakes slowly

RAIN! What is that?????

We planted our garden this past Friday. Papa brought donuts and helped - it made it even more fun :) Hudson...enjoyed ?? being outside in the shade while we dug and planted...or not. They decided playing with the hose was more fun than digging and planting. Can't imagine why! :) Chilling with Papa...finally! Someone to hold me! :) This is what happens when it drops below 100degrees for the first time in...ages, and some wet stuff falls out of the sky (what is that???) even tho it only lasted about 2 minutes. The boys stripped naked and ran around the yard - Savvy kept saying - I want more rain!! So we turned on the sprinkler. AZ substitute for rain. They had a BLAST. Love the muddy faces :) Wyatt LOVES LOVES LOVES Lightning McQueen. He has a small one that he carries EVERYWHERE. We were getting dressed the other day, and he said, "Lightning McQueen is not in my hand!" :) Then as we were buckling up to head somewhere he showed me "Red" and said "this is
