Changing the brakes....

Image
I'm Daddy's big helper :) x2 She helped him take out the lugnuts and everything. Her face shows the beauty of her assistance. :)   Bubbles...they love love love bubbles. I'm pretty sure Savvy took this... Eating peanutbutter spoons. They both love PB...just a small token from the Leap blood in them  CHEESE Painting...Wyatt's first experience :) they had a blast. Till Bryceson poured the paint water cup all over the entire table :) Oh well. There will be many more pictures to be painted! One last view of the sweet, dirty face....
So I thought I'd post some fun videos of the kids. They are SO SO SO fun. In this 1st video Savanna is ROARING with Patsy, while sitting in the dog's water bowl :)  Fun times! The 2nd video is of Wyatt talking...it is from Sept. 2010 so it isn't totally updated with all his new words, but is super fun :)

A family member you may never have known we had..

I am the grandmother to a moose. Yes, you heard me correctly, a MOOSE. She doesn't have a "re al" name, it is simply "moose" or "moosie." She has become a permanent and important part of our daily life. Yesterday Moose looked at me and said "Grandma!" Wow. Not ready for the one quite yet. Guess I'm getting some practice in on a small, blue well-loved moose with no neck to speak of any more. (Her neck has been "loved" do wn into her belly). She 1st joined our family when Savvy was 1 or so, a nd went ignored for quite a while...I think she was discovered shortly after the little brother came on the scene. Moose goes EVERYWHERE with us, and occasionally sleeps at other people's houses, esp.Grandma's (on accident)...Once we thought we'd left her at Safeway and I almost cried...until I remembered, she is just a BLUE MOOSE. Still, she is part of every thing in life... "Momma, Moosie doesn't like that. Momma, Moos

Wild West FUN!!

Image
Today we went to the Wild Western Festival with my parents, Auntie Leslie & Uncle James and Miss Patsy. it was very fun! We saw a horse do tricks - he could lay down and bow and wave his hoof....and then Sava nna and Wyatt discovered the bounce houses. :) Needle ss t o say that was the highlight of the ad venture for them... O h and t he ic e cr eam afterward. But th ey got their picture taken with Barney Fife - or his close relative :) and petted a horse . It was great! We also ran into som e good friends of ours, so Savanna got to play with Colin. :) Another highlight! Auntie Leslie gave Savvy a pack of felt story boards with all kinds of figure on it...Hours of fun to be had YAY!! Thank God for Family!!

10-10-10 and other such fun

Image
We had our 10-10-10 party this Sunday. It was FABULOUS. :)It was the 1st time we were able to have LOTS of people over and that just makes my heart REALLY, REALLY happy :) Our yard is finally completed, aside from needing to overseed and get some pretty plants and such to line the sides. What a fun thing to finally, after all our hard work, to go from ROCKS to a gorgeous yard we can have friends over to share with. Very excited to use our fire-pit...when it finally gets under 95. :) We did a White Elephant exchange and it was GREAT fun. Everyone got to pick something then "steal" from others and we ended up with some fun fun fun stuff. Like bubbles, games, Christmas ornaments and more! oh and some fun hide-and-seek pictures, as well as some of RAIN!! Yes, occasionally we have weather other than SUN. It's rare which is why we take lots of pictures :) (The random other little boy is Bryceson...we watch him 3 days a wk) To fun and happiness!

Savanna Joy is FOUR!

Image
Wow. Does time fly or what??? Savanna turned four 10/6/10. What a wonder and gift she is. She is extremely articulate, tall and just a JOY to be around. Here are some highlights from her special day. I asked her what she would like to have for breakfast...she said "Cinnamon rolls!" Daddy asked, "orange or regular?" and she said "Both!" so...we had both :) It was, after all, her special day! Then we opened presents... new play dough from mom and dad, and a great new princess Chutes & Ladders from Grandma Jayne (she loves it and we've played it 3x a day since :) ) Then we just did whatever she wanted : Watched movies, played the new game, played with Playdough, tried on new clothes. We tried to go swimming but the pool has already been closed for the winter (winter, what winter??) so we had Chick fil A instead. Which she loved. She asked for shrimp for dinner (random) then we had homemade cake and ice cream (homemade by Papa!) Patsy made Savanna a

Growing...

Image
So I measured Savanna and Wyatt this morning before church b/c I noticed that they both look like they've grown in the past, hmmm, week or so. OH MY GOODNESS!!! Savanna is now 45 INCHES TALL ! And she is only going to turn FOUR this Wednesday! Wow. Truly showing her tall DNA. :) That is 1 1/2 inches growth since August. Wyatt is now 34 1/2 inche s - wow! and that is 2 inches growth since August. Must be feeding them and watering them enough :) New pictures: Another new and exciting this is that as of this upcoming week, I will actually be a paid employee of the YMCA! So instead of volunteer teaching like I have been since April, I will be paid (what a fun idea) and will be teaching 3 yoga classes a week! Such a great blessing and great timing too HOORAY! Savvy loves to do yoga with me... Here are some more vacation pictures with the Wyatt's :) We went to the Desert Botanical Garden, and saw the Monarch Butterflies! So gorgeous...look closely! T his one is at Slide Rock North
