Vacation withthe Wyatt's

Image
We had a blast with our goooood friends, John and Christi Wyatt and their sweet 10 month old Elizabeth. :) They cam into town Wed. 9/ 22 and leave Monday the 27th. It has been a great time. Here are some of the fun things we did: This is Savanna and Elizabeth :) sitting outside before we began our adventures! We went to the Enchanted Island amusement Park. It was GREAT> Savanna and Wyatt both loved the rides and could do most of them - one of the perks of being from a TALL family :) We did the carousel, trani, helicopters, cars, twirly whirly ride and then did it all again. I promise they had more fun than the family picture shows :) Here is a video of Charles and the kids on the twirly whirly ride.... We will definitely be going back to the Enchanted Island Amusement Park...but not when it is 100 degrees out. Wyatt was a shade of pink beyond normal :). More on our fun adventures later!

silliness and such

Since I'm trying to figure this whole "blogging" thing out, I thought I'd attempt to post some pictures of the sweet children and our fun in hide-and-seek etc.... This is Wyatt pointing to where Savvy was hiding. :) But this is where she was really hiding :) And here are just a few pictures of them coloring and Wyatt reading in Savvy's closet. He has decided to LOVE books YAY!!!

funny...

Our children are so sun!! Last night Grandma came for dinner and after we watered our garden - or rather, our bed of dirt with seeds...we came inside and played Hide and Seek. Oh my goodness. it was so so so hilarious. Wyatt loved the part where we would run to the bench and count "Ready or not, here We come!" and then walk thru the halls with both his arms up, like "Where are they?" Savvy was pretty good at hiding, but her favorite part was popping out at whoever was looking for her. It was great fun :) Looking forward to when they get a little older and we can play in the dark :) Wyatt is now saying more words! He says "All Done!" (sounds like aaaaah dawww) and Daddy continues to be his favorite word. :) Savanna is learning to write her letters! She told me she wanted to do letters the other day, so I helped her trace the entire alphabet and then her numbers 1-10. She is a quick learner and loves it. YAY! :)

Wow...

Well, never thought I'd see the day that I would start a blog. But it's all for the sake of the children, and the grandparents, not merely my need for self-expression. So here it goes- a record of the growing and changing and precious-ness of the Johnson children, and the fun we have on our journey together!
