Spring!

Image
Well, summer is coming so we have been spending as much time as possible outside. :)  Soaking up the cool weather... CHEESE! One of our favorite parks has lots of climbing equipment, sand and a water area. We have been meeting some great friends there most Fridays. Even Hudson loves it :) Look! I love music :) Hudson is now standing up on anything he can pull up on, and can walk along the couch or window or whatever. He even balanced by himself for a split second :) Walking is definitely right around the corner :) We went to the Phx zoo with our close friends, the Kanuchoks. It was GREAT! We got up close to the elephants, giraffes and saw lots of other animals. It was a great outing. Wyatt totally knows how to eat ice cream and relax at the same time :)

Snow fun! 2012

Image
So last week AZ got a  truly LATE snow storm...not here in Phx, of course, but lots in the mountains north of us and all over the higher elevations. So since Charles is off Tuesdays, we decided to load up and go to Prescott and PLAY in the snow. SO SO SO FUN! It is about a 2 hour drive, we got to have lunch out, then went out to a sledding area we found last year - so fun!   Hudson, being the adorable trooper that he is, didn't balk at all the layers I put on him...you know, i am from AZ, so snow in my mind = COLD. But not really. He didn't need the 4 layers at all...Charles shed his coat within 5 minutes *altho he isn't a very good gauge of what is cold ;)* We all totally enjoyed the wet fun. Back up in the tree line is where we sledded. Even Huddy sledded once! :) Daddy and Wyatt....they had such a great time together...Savvy got rrrreeeallly wet and cold - since she was the only one who didn't have snow shoes, and her jeans were super cold, so she, Hudson and ...

Wyatt is THREE!!

We had a FANTASTIC birthday for Wyatt. The only downer is that Charles had to work on Sunday (which was his actual bday). So the kids and I woke up, we had cinnamon orange rolls and eggs (eggs are Wyatt's FAVORITE thing to eat in the morning. Seriously. I need some chickens. The boy can easily out-eat me!!) He got open the super coooooool train Grandma Juju sent him (it was Charles' when he was little - huge increase in cool factor!) and we had such fun playing with it!! Hooray! I'm Three!!! (He told me all last week that he was 5. I said, you are silly, you will be three! He said, I'm pretending! )  Then we got to go to church, which was super fun - Grandma and Patsy joined us, so that was even more special. We grabbed a quick lunch at Taco Bell - he really likes the cheese quesadillas hahahaha and then headed home...after picking up his huge present!  WHAT IS IT????? I kid you not, since 2 of his best friends have gotten trampolines for Christmas, almost, ve...

General fun-ness

Image
So I realize that "fun-ness" probably isn't a "real" word....but who cares :) I like it!  We got a smoker. YUM. We did a pork shoulder roast, 2 pork loins, a prime rib roast and 2 chickens *yes it can hold all of this at one time :) DELICIOUS!! And I love getting meat out of my freezer whenever i need it :) Oh...your hair...it must taste so good...  Silly daddy.... On this day, Papa and Savvy started telling stories. it was AMAZING. They sat like this, and outside on the swing for almost 2 hours just making up story upon story. It was FANTASTIC :) I think our girl might be a writer some day! AZ 100 Year parade :) Savvy found some STAR stickers...look close below. Do you see them? Gma Great and Savvy sporting their stickers on their noses :) She gave us all one...even Huddy :) love that girl! Valentine's Day Pink Pancakes :) I want Girl Scout cookies too.... our army-man crawler :) already wants to be like Daddy!
