 So this is Wyatt helping daddy dig out the big hole for the new tree we got :) notice his small red shovel...

 LOL Wyatt decided he needed a twirly dress too...so Daddy got him one and he and Savvy had a FABULOUS time twirling in dresses together.

Oh yes, and now he is depositing the dirt in the wheelbarrow :)

And my new favorite thing is hearing Wyatt say "Night Night". Precious.

Nebraska! Settling in....

And we really love it. I have meant to blog regularly....and hopefully we will get there. We had a GREAT trip here. 1200 miles and only one traffic jam that lasted 3.5 hours. In New Mexico. So random. But we arrived safely and are settled - for now.  The weather has been so amazing. RAIN. Clouds. NO 100+ degree days. Today is the first day of FALL and we are excited. After 14 years of NO Fall, we are rejoicing. 😃 It is looking like we might have our first freeze in a week or 2 - YIKES! We are all thrilled for all the comes with Fall and Winter. In March, when it is cold and wet and dreary, I will remember Arizona with more fondness LOL our Fall decor in the camper! Life has settled into a good rhythm. The kids are truly enjoying their new school. It actually amazes me how they have settled in and LOVE their school. Savanna is in 6th grade and just yesterday they had 6th Grade Outdoor Ed day--which means they spent the day at a local farm learning all about raising animal...

Pioneer Woman's Comfort Meatballs...and the most amazing Garlic Mashed potatoes...myy rec

 YUM. That is all I have to say about these meatballs. I generally like meatballs, and these are SIMPLE, and have a step I've never heard of before....you actually flour and fry them before baking them. I know, seems ridiculous, I mean, who fries meatballs??? PW :) She got the recipe from a friend when she had just given birth to their 3rd child and was nursing...maybe that's why I like them so much!! Ha ha ...  Simple ingredients. Oatmeal, salt, pepper, milk, onion. And my beautiful helper. In this picture, she was making "soup" from food coloring and water...she was so so so excited for Daddy to wake up so that he could eat his soup too...we all had a bowl at lunch :) Someday she will be an amazing cook, I'm telling you! HOORAY! So then you chill them...to help them set up, I think.  Flour them, and fry them...apparently I didn't take a picture of that step. Use your imagination. Its pretty exciting. The sauce - so YUMMY. Probably what ensure they are...

Savanna is FIVE!!!

We had such a great time celebrating Savvy's 5th birthday. Amazing that she is that old!!! :) We went on a family vacation to San Diego - it was so fun! Great to get out of the HOT weather we are still having...It is Oct 20th, and I think that it will be 95 today. What the???? So San Diego was refreshing. We stayed with my brother Kevin, and took the kids to the San Diego zoo, and to Mission Beach. It was awesome :) The pictures are SUPER not in order b/c I've been having computer troubles...sorry :( This is what they look like when they taste Coke : Bucky, the 3 legged wonder dog :) He guarded Huddy the whole time we were there :) I'm FIVE!!! This is an Elephant collar. So glad Tank's collar isn't quite so ... HUGE! :) Newest family member, Jessie from Toy Story. She goes EVERYWHERE with us...with Emily, the other "Grandchild." Can I just say that being a grandmother, even to stuffed things, kinda freaks me out...just gotta be h...
