Seriously. If blog posting were as routine as paying bills, I would seriously be in ARREARS. :) We just recently got a new laptop so now hopefully my issues with posting and uploading pictures will be resolved and the irritations of a slow, ancient computer are gone. :) Today we celebrate our 2nd born son, Hudson Michael Johnson. He is such a delight. He is currently learning how to walk - he alternates between really fast crawling and excited toddling. He is also a master of climbing on the couch :) and getting down carefully :) Huddy actually wants to climb on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING he can get himself up on. :O) Oh my......We had a fun little party yesterday for him - he thoroughly enjoyed his chocolate cake ball :) Those pictures will come soon. Savanna is about 60 days away from starting kindergarten - I know this b/c she keeps asking how many days are left :) Needless to say, she is VERY excited. We play school all the time, including lunchtime and I generally get to be the t...

Spring!

Well, summer is coming so we have been spending as much time as possible outside. :)  Soaking up the cool weather... CHEESE! One of our favorite parks has lots of climbing equipment, sand and a water area. We have been meeting some great friends there most Fridays. Even Hudson loves it :) Look! I love music :) Hudson is now standing up on anything he can pull up on, and can walk along the couch or window or whatever. He even balanced by himself for a split second :) Walking is definitely right around the corner :) We went to the Phx zoo with our close friends, the Kanuchoks. It was GREAT! We got up close to the elephants, giraffes and saw lots of other animals. It was a great outing. Wyatt totally knows how to eat ice cream and relax at the same time :)

Snow fun! 2012

So last week AZ got a  truly LATE snow storm...not here in Phx, of course, but lots in the mountains north of us and all over the higher elevations. So since Charles is off Tuesdays, we decided to load up and go to Prescott and PLAY in the snow. SO SO SO FUN! It is about a 2 hour drive, we got to have lunch out, then went out to a sledding area we found last year - so fun!   Hudson, being the adorable trooper that he is, didn't balk at all the layers I put on him...you know, i am from AZ, so snow in my mind = COLD. But not really. He didn't need the 4 layers at all...Charles shed his coat within 5 minutes *altho he isn't a very good gauge of what is cold ;)* We all totally enjoyed the wet fun. Back up in the tree line is where we sledded. Even Huddy sledded once! :) Daddy and Wyatt....they had such a great time together...Savvy got rrrreeeallly wet and cold - since she was the only one who didn't have snow shoes, and her jeans were super cold, so she, Hudson and ...
