PW Blackberry cobbler and Homemade Ranch Dressing....

We at the Johnson house LOVE ranch dressing. Unless it is balsamic vinegar and EVOO with a good does of garlic and some S&P, ranch is our #1 choice. So when I saw that Pioneer Woman has a homemade ranch dressing I got really  excited :) And not long before that our pastor's wife introduced us to HER homemade ranch...also amazing. Simple. Great on most everything....
So this is what is in PW's ranch - fresh dill, parsley, chives, buttermilk, sour cream, mayo, some Worcestershire, white vinegar, garlic, a touch of hot sauce....Oh my. We could eat it by the gallon. And it truly does go well on most everything!! :)
Let me say, I'm NOT generally a fruit dessert person. Well, I used to not be. Now, thanks to PW, I could very easily be converted. She has a super simple blackberry cobbler recipe - I made it 1st with peaches b/c we had some super fresh ones and it won OUTSTANDING compliments from the family I tried it on. And didn't last more than one night.

So then we tried is according to the recipe - and with blackberries it is just as delicious. Seriously, you need to buy this cookbook :) It is absolutely YUMMY!
